What exactly does "Hire us as your Research Project Manager" mean?

Who actually owns my project day to day?

How do you choose which Researchers work on it?
We match your brief against our pool by research domain, publication and citation record pulled from each Researcher's Google Scholar profile, past project reviews and current availability. Larger projects usually get more than one specialist — for example a domain expert for the method and a simulation specialist for the implementation.
Do I have to coordinate with the Researchers myself?
No — that is precisely what you are handing over. All briefing, chasing and consolidation runs through your Project Manager. If you would like to speak to the Researcher directly at some point, we will happily set that up, but nothing depends on you doing so.
How involved can I stay?
As involved as you want. You approve the plan before work starts, review each milestone, and can send feedback or change direction at any point. Everything is visible in your workspace, so staying informed does not mean sitting in meetings.
What kinds of research work do you take on?
STEM research across 50+ domains — problem formulation and literature review, methodology design, simulation and coding work (MATLAB, Python and similar), data analysis, results interpretation, manuscript and thesis support, and preparing work for submission. Are your Researchers genuinely qualified?
Every Researcher applies, is reviewed by our team, and has their publications, citations and h-index pulled from their verified Google Scholar profile onto their public ScholarsColab profile. They are faculty members and working industry researchers, and they carry ratings from real reviews on completed work — you get vetted people without having to vet anyone yourself.
How do you make sure the work is actually good?
Two layers. The Researcher delivers, then your Project Manager reviews it against the agreed brief, and every written deliverable goes through a plagiarism check before it reaches you. Anything that does not meet the brief goes back before you ever see it.
What if a deliverable is not what I expected?
Say so and it is revised. Milestones do not advance and payment is not released until you have accepted the work. If the fit is genuinely wrong, your Project Manager reassigns the task to a different Researcher — matching the right expert to the topic is our responsibility, not yours.
Who owns the work, and is my project kept confidential?
The work is yours. Your brief, data and drafts are shared only with the Project Manager and the Researchers assigned to your project, and are never republished, resold or reused elsewhere. If your institution or funder needs a signed confidentiality agreement before you share anything, ask us and we will put one in place first.
How do you handle academic integrity?
We work as research support: methodology, analysis, implementation, review and guidance that you understand and can defend. Deliverables are original and plagiarism-checked, and we are happy to walk you through the reasoning behind any part of the work. If your institution has rules about acknowledging external support, tell your Project Manager and we will fit the engagement around them.
How do I follow what is happening?

How does milestone tracking work?
Your project is broken into clearly defined milestones with their own deliverables and dates. You review and accept each one before the next begins, so progress is visible and there are no surprises at the end.
Can I change the scope or the deadline mid-project?
Yes. Research plans move, and the model expects that. Tell your Project Manager what has changed and they will re-plan the remaining milestones, bring in different expertise if the direction has shifted, and confirm any effect on cost or timeline before anything proceeds.
How urgent can you go?
It depends on the scope and on Researcher availability, and we would rather say no than promise a date we cannot hold. Put your real deadline in the brief and your Project Manager will tell you straight away whether it is achievable, and what a realistic plan looks like if it is not.
How are deliverables handed over?
Through your workspace, in whatever working formats the task calls for — documents, code and scripts, datasets, figures and result files, with the notes needed to reproduce or extend them. Everything remains available to you after the project closes.
What does a project cost?
There is no fixed price list, because a two-week simulation task and a six-month thesis programme are not the same job. The quote depends on scope, complexity, how many specialists are needed and how tight the deadline is. You receive a clear, itemised quote before any work starts, and it does not change unless you change the scope.
When do I actually pay?
Not at the brief stage — submitting is free. Once you approve the plan, you fund the first milestone, and payment for each milestone is released only after you have reviewed and accepted that milestone's work.
How is my money protected?
Funds sit against a specific milestone and are released only for work you have signed off. Because nothing is paid up front for the whole project, your exposure at any moment is limited to the single milestone in progress.
What if something goes wrong?
Raise it with your Project Manager first — most issues are solved with a revision or a reassignment. If that does not settle it, the matter goes through our formal dispute process, where our team reviews the brief, the deliverable and the milestone before deciding on a resolution.
Can you invoice my university or department?
Yes. Tell your Project Manager who the invoice should be addressed to and what reference or purchase-order details it needs, and we will issue it accordingly — before the milestone if your institution has to pay against an invoice.
