My research area focuses on a variety of social science issues ranging from education to other everyday social issues as they affect the well-being and academics of the masses – both in Zambia and beyond our borders. These are issues that cover a range of ages from the teens to the adults. On the Zambian scene, I have conducted research studies for Zambia’s Ministry of Education (“The Social Studies Challenge”), Zambia’s Ministry of Labour and Social Services (“The Role Played by The Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security”), the Zambia Statistics Agency (ZAMSTATS) (“Mangango Ward Census Report [2022]”) as well as for the David Livingstone College’s Department of Languages and Literature (“Analysis of Prominal Forms of Address in Silozi”). Apart from being engaged by the University of Zambia’s Institute of Economic and Social Research (INESOR), I am currently writing an autobiography of myself and working on an English-Silozi Dictionary. Both pieces of literature are intended for use by learners in Zambian secondary schools but will be suitable for a wider readership – both locally and internationally. I love studying and researching within the social sciences genre because the sciences are more practical as far as living life is concerned in that they widen my understanding of:- • anthropology – which makes me better understand the different cultures. • why other people behave differently from the way I behave. • how different individuals make economic decisions in their lives. • the origins and development of human social structures.
